Event admission is free for this weekend long event that boasts award-winning barbecue and Southern-inspired fare from the country's top pitmasters, and features live performances from emerging and established musical artists. NEW! VIP PACKAGE PASS “BIGPIGGIN' PASS” New this year… The BigPiggin’ Pass, which may be purchased for the 12th annual Big Apple Barbecue Block Party below. A BigPiggin’ Pass may be purchased for either Saturday, June 7th or Sunday, June 8th. A BigPiggin' Pass allows the holder exclusive access to a new VIP Hospitality area of Madison Square Park, not previously offered to Big Apple Barbecue Block Party attendees! Highlights of the VIP experience include a complimentary buffet of barbecue and Southern fare from Danny Meyer's Union Square Events to complement the 17 award-winning pits smoking up Madison Square Park. The day-long Open Bar of Wine, Bee, Specialty Cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages invites BigPiggin' Pass holders to relax on the front porch-inspired seating and air-conditioned restrooms round out the ultimate 'cue lover's Big Apply Barbecue experience. And it doesn’t stop there! A BigPiggin’ Pass allows the holder access to express lines for barbecue and includes $100 redeemable for food and beverage on the chosen day only. BigPiggin’ Passes are $265 each, valid for the pass holder on the chosen day only, and may be purchased for either Saturday or Sunday of the event. Big Apple Barbecue Block Party Box Office Hours: Saturday, June 7th > 9:30am – 6pm Sunday, June 8th > 9:30am – 4pm The BABBQ Box Office is located in Madison Square Park on the east side of the main lawn between 24th & 25th Streets. A photo ID is required for pass pick up. Only the original purchaser can pick up BigPiggin' VIP Passes on the respective day of the event purchased. Limited quantities are available for purchase in advance of the event, while supplies last. TERMS & CONDITIONS This pass is issued by the Big Apple Barbecue Block Party and is valid only at the 12th annual festival in June 2014. A BigPigginPass permits the bearer to FastPass line and VIP Hospitality. This pass may only be used on the specified day. Its validity is not affected by weather, nor is it refundable or redeemable for cash. Any misuse of the credential or the Park is grounds for being removed from the premises and privileges to return may be revoked.
